Default My 2001 Miata

A couple weeks ago I drove my Miata and when I restarted it it was jerking real bad. It died on me,so I let it sit for about 10 mins. It started back up and the engine light was on. I left it sit for a few days, started it up and the engine light was off.Drove home from work, ran some errands and before I got home it did the same thing as before.I'm thinking alternator. Anyone else have any clues???

It will have a code in the PCM memory so run it by an Autozone and have the codes checked. There will be at least a pending code. Get that and post it.
