Hey guys..

I have recently bought a mazda6 from a car auction.The sterio is displaying a code which needs entering.Unfortunately i can find what the code is...is it given in the manual?This car was with a rental company earlier so did try calling them up but even they didnt have anything on their system? now i am assuming its probably a personalized PIN to keep it safe from being stolen? what can be done about it? can the code be reset or somthing? and if not what should i do?PLEASE HELP ME .

There is a similar post in the MPV section about the same thing. Euro model stereos must be different than US because ours do not have an antitheft code in them. There are no procedures available in US for unlocking. Sorry:(. Might call Mazda dealer and see what they say too.
