i took my car in for the airbag light coming on and was told the battery was only at 9.8 volts and this is what caused my light to come on. is this true?

that's probaly not the one you want though. the dealership wouldnt give me the code the diagnotic equipment gave them but the aibag light was flashing 4 times then 5.and they didn;t even want to hear me out about it. it totally made me mad that they blew me off like i was some idiot.
