Lupae3s 10-17-2005, 06:24 PM i got a custom catback system with 2.5 inch piping installed for $233.20 and i couldnt be happier! silverracer18 10-17-2005, 11:04 PM thats definitley a reasonable price bkey71 10-18-2005, 12:22 AM I once had a Chevy Cavalier with a Borla exhaust, it sounded sweet! Alucard 10-20-2005, 12:37 AM wow if I could only find a good exhaust for my little 323. On getting a new muffiler does any one know if you have to cut the old on off and weld the new on or does it just have a clamp? Lupae3s 10-20-2005, 03:01 AM if youre looking for a good exhaust system for your 323 just take your car down to a local muffler shop and tell them what you need...custom exhausts in my opinion are so much better than factory exhaust kits. Alucard 10-20-2005, 03:17 AM Oh really? How much would you think that would set me back? I think the most I would want for now is a cat back. I don't think it would be that hard because my car is so small. I would just want something that would make it sound better. What would you suggest? TRINI01 10-20-2005, 11:29 PM 2.5" local://upfiles/2005/F55A7232811E4E8692B513B839EAB136.jpg methyl1test 10-21-2005, 05:01 PM Borla :d bkey71 10-21-2005, 05:58 PM Thats what I already said! Highly recommended. But a little more costly. [sm=bounceybounce.gif] Lupae3s 11-30-2005, 09:03 PM Hi. I have a Borla Rock-It that i've been trying to get rid of for a long time. It is part of Borla's 'Boomer Series'. This muffler is brand new, has never been used, and it looks great! Part Number: 40058 Inlet Diameter: 2.5 " Oulet Diameter / Shape: 4.5 " / Round Case Size: 14 " x 6.75 " x 6.75 " BORLA Boomers are full-blown, high-tech, dyno and race-proven mufflers for the street or track. These eye-popping, fully polished mufflers utilize BORLA's patented race-winning technology. They boost horsepower 7% - 10% while adding head-turning sound. Available in a variety of universal-fit styles, BORLA Boomers are made of aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel and include a Million Mile Warranty. I bought the muffler directly from Borla for $225.00. I am willing to let it go for $200.00. PM me if you are interested. local://upfiles/339/F0F139C96968446EA7DC8779F9C39C8B.jpg Mazda0to6ty 12-18-2005, 04:57 AM I listened to all those on others' cars, but decided to go with TANABE SMR Exhaust that are guaranteed to have the same or better performance and under 85db since I don't want my car sounding like all the honda civic lawnmowers around town. Tanabe puts out a nice low rumble that still leaves no question to what's in the car! I'll post pics as soon as i can! Here is what it looks like from the rear! local://upfiles/2640/0EB776B547B2407E8637EDF300788B00.jpg Tracker 02-24-2006, 09:34 PM First how loud is it? Second the Apex exhaust for my car would run me at $700, and for my Magnaflow on which im thinking on getting would cost about $365 (ironic) but that includes installation cost and a 1year warrenty. mph 03-11-2006, 12:14 AM loud pips save lives , they can hear you comming and get out of the way racying beet header no cat bad cat no borla mufflers are nice, yes i know you sead that |
