Default quick hp upgrade????

OK I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM SO TAKE IT EASY ON MY...I AM ABOUT TO GET A 06 MAZDA 6i THIS WEEK AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS A QUICK AND CHEAP WAY TO GET SOME HORSEPOWER??? ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED...THX GUYS...

air box mod is gets like, 1 or 2, I think (also makes it sound a lot better)
throttle body bypass prevents some hp lag due to heat soak

as far as I know, that's the only cheap way to increase hp. after that probably a CAI or exhaust.

The RPM store is an awesome place to look for parts for the 6. Unfortunately the only cheep/free mod is the airbox mod and the increase from it is marginal.

Take off all of the extra plastic peaces in the bottom of the air box and the thing that looks like a snorkel and use a dremel tool and swill cheese the bottom and sides of the box( adds hp and it sounds better)
