I've often been asked if you should leave your computer turned on during the night. I now have the answer as to what happens to your computer while it is unattended during the night while you sleep.

viruses, speaking of them... i'm shipping my computer out tomorrow for a new backlight bulb and a reformatting of my computer while it is still under warranty... may be on a little bit every here and there for the next week or 2. once i get my computer back, i'll be on a good bit more!

well, hopefully.... [:'(] damn viruses

My computer stays on 24/7....unless when it shuts off during a power outtage for about a second or two.

It really depends on what type of computer you have and how much memory is being taken up while it's idle.
