Camera phone?! Almost everyone and their mother has one! Thought this would be a fun/interesting thread to start, but no participants besides myself and DropTop = no fun!

Don't have a camera phone and neither does my mother. Exhausted my patience trying to downsize a digital cam pic from 1 mb down to size that MF will accept. What the heck am I doing wrong here. My photo software will let me downsize but I need to have an e-mail address to send to. Help on computer stuff would be appreciated.

babyhuey...try downloading Irfanview. Just look it up in a search engine. It will let you resize. Also, if you upload pictures onto www.tinypic.com , it automatically resizes the picture to 250K I believe.

I hope you took no offense PATRICK. You look great, just not as I had pictured you in my mind. I should not have been surprised though. I have been listening to my local radio station at work for years now and the morning team. The DJ I always pictured as being a big cowboy type from the way he talks and carries on. You know 6'5" 230lbs and wearing a cowboy hat and western clothes with **** kicker boots. They were doing a promotion a few weeks ago so I went by and man was I surprised. He was probably 5'1" and 100 lbs soaking wet and looked more like Woody Allen!! I couldn't believe when he started talking that it was the same person.

Man I like this thread , it's nice to see each other and it makes us feel more closer eh ? I had tried to start a thread like that in the past with a suggestion but nobody bit the bait , glad here it's different . You're shy at first and then your glad you did it like we have so far ... hope ther will be more .

I suggest we edit our postings and give a brief description of ourselves say ,
1) where we come from (if not in sig.)
2) our ride (if not in signature)
3) and our trade/specialty skills/talent (for informal reference , say we need help with something . Ex. sstlaure is a Mazda mech. eng. for Ford/Mazda as well as babyhuey)

Brief moment of correction though. sstlaure designs the things, I just try to figure out why they don't work and what it will take to make it work.

I was running on a small national drag racing series in the street eliminator class for the last 5 years, and my name/car has been in Mopar collectors guide, Mopar muscle, and national dragster magazine, but when I moved, the car stayed back home, so this was my first year since i turned 16 where i havent made at least 100-125 trips down the quarter mile in a summer..this year, i made 4..all in my slow DD or the bmw...[:@]

That's about it.. but still wanting to upgrade the intercooler and put stainless steel piping to it.., pod filter, boost controller, and then maybe just so some more detailing under the hood, like i dont clean it enough lol.

I just joined last week. I'm out of Chillicothe, OH. Speaking of getting girls performance parts for christmas, I got my intake as a christmas present a couple of years ago. Has anyone seen the after market console replacements that allow you to put in an after market CD player? I wasn't sure if anyone has had any experience with one. My husband was thinking about getting me one for christmas.

Thanks for your comments! I have put a lot of work into my car, so it is nice to get some positive feedback. I wanted to get a shot of the stereo cause that is the one thing on the car that I did by myself. I added some more photos in my album. I don't like to ride with my chrome rims in the winter, unfortunately, thanks to a local shop who has no idea what they are doing, they feathered one of my lugs and I am having a hell of a time trying to get that wheel off. If I cannot get to it in time, I will probably be in the market for some new wheels next summer. I'm hoping to get some cool stuff for Christmas to add for the next year's car shows.

I've only raced some friends for fun, but nothing serious. It's only a four cylinder. My husband thinks its fast and tries to run people all the time, and then I have to yell at him. It's not too bad, we've kept up with a V6 Camaro. I'm more into the car show scene.

ah, i see, show car. i've always been into racing. the first day i got my licence, i was at the track racing my car. all i do now is build cars and race them. i have an 84 Monte Carlo SS and a 83 Camaro. The 355 thats in the monte is being rebuilt and going into the camaro and im building a forged internal 412 small block for the monte... Hopefully ill have it done by spring 07...

That's cool. I get an adrenaline rush everytime I race a friend. I can definitely see how it would become addicting.

he's a pittsburgh PA boy just like me. Him and a few buddies took everything out of his grand am and modified it to hand the 8 cyl.

I love my wheels even though only people who are mazda fanatics realize that they don't come stock in chromes!..lol I do get enough people asking me what kind they are still though!

boy does that kid pack some serious skill. I watched highlights of when he was a kid and when he was in the the peewee league, he was showing off his mad skills at only at 10. Not to mention he could balance the puck on his stick and then hook it around to get a goal while it wasn't even touching the ice. The pens are very lucky to have such an asset. Now we only need to get that new arena up and going to keep this team. I can't even think about the pittsburgh pengiuns becoming the kansas city penguins (if they keep the team name).

Are you trying to use the "Click here to upload!" link at the bottom of a forum post window? Or are you using the "image" button along the top of the forum post window? What version of Mac OS are you running? What browser are you using? I dont have a mac around to try to duplicate it, but can get my hands on one if necessary.

No the hood is not scratched, that's a crappy decal previous owner installed. These pics were taken before i got the car. It's still there but I haven't had time to remove it yet, nor the chemicals.

I'm definetly squinting -- I can see the whites of my eyes in the high-res version I keep. I had just woken up though, so I'm not shocked I looked like that (I'm lucky enough that my hair didn't resemble Einstein's).

My wife, on the other hand, ALWAYS seems to close her eyes... it is so hard to get a good picture of her.

It was amazing. I will tell you though. Even when I had that thing. Id be at a light, and Id have civics, and such rev and try to race me. Id just look at them and shake my head, granted my bike redlined @ 15k. So Id shift at like 6k just so they felt something, then Id look at 'em, laugh and just ride a wheelie past 'em. Good times.

i would love to have a bike like that, but i would kill myself, i would go to fast and crash into something. and since i have a family i dont want to risk it, and the wife wont let me.

my friend Sonic is kinda like that, i mean hes like 19 and light enough to pick and throw he drove a red Civic hatchback with a H22 in it all motor and before it was stolen he was currently undfeated, now drives a CRX V-Tech.

This just in, a Gray Mazda6 was stolen and covered in "Type R" stickers and re-badged as a Honda. It can be seen driving around with the driver screaming what sounds to be "believe this!". Well keep you updated as we get more info. Next, why your next salad may be your last, after the break.

heyyyy now...haha the only reason ppl jack em is cuz their are so many after martket parts to choose from its insane, not to mention pretty cheap and its very easy to mod. makin a civic jump lower than 12sec isnt hard at all and not that expensive compared to other cars out there. i know hatchbacks are very hard to come by, atleast a good one. my friends been looking to get a 6th generation hatchback for over a year, he just found one not long ago for 9k and i think hes getting it.

Hondas are unfair i mean a turbo kit for them could be ~1200 and ours for the same hp gain and probably same company would cost ~3000 minimum, and you can do ANYTHING to a Honda.

ok if it works me my old car and i dont have a new pic but i just bought a mazda 323 4 door..plans are kit rims turbo and a respray not that it needs it but i love the different look..

My girlfriend has a 2004 civic, we went away to NH this past weekend and she left her car at my school and we get back and some dumb bastard stole her Honda logos and scratched the #(@# out of her car while doing it...ha ha, but the best part is they stole "ivic" they left the C...ha ha, man, what people will do!

nice picture. i was able to tell right away that the person who took the picture knows something about photo. shes got a really good depth of field there, nice blurring of the background which leads focus onto you and your son. looks like you guys had a blast.

It's what she does now for her profession. She used to be a CAD Designer for Ford before we had Reid. She's always had a good eye and and interest in photography. She takes classes every now and then to learn new techniques and we invested in some REALLY nice equipment for her. (It's amazing what a difference the equip makes...) Hers is all digital, and she edits with a high-level Photoshop software. She'll probably take 200 pics to get 18 or so to touch up, but it doesn't cost her anything to take the extra shots because they are free.

I think she does a great job and I'll pass along the compliment. Only problem is that I take suck crap pictures that we never seem to get many pics of her.


Oh yeah.....the filter used for that shot was a ladies stocking pulled over the lens (at least something wasn't expensive...)

I've seen a Grate Dane-Miniature Dachshund mix. The mother was the minature dachshun, that must've been painful. it just looked like any other weener dog though.

What is up with a lot of girls liking little dogs? Pugs...I do not think they're cute at all. I want a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They were bred to hunt and kill lions. They're a beautiful, gentle breed. And quite large. I like Medium sized dogs too. Like Golden Retrievers and Pitbulls...I even kind of like English Bulldogs. :)

haha, i already know that if my girl gets a pug... it will most likely like me better than her haha! it always seems to happen, then she won't want the dog anymore.

I know what you mean about digging in the yard. We have six short haired mini doxies. Virtually a herd I suppose. Our answering machine message even starts with "You have reached our dachshund ranch..." Hanzy is our biggest digger and lizard chaser. He is the black/tan one on the far right. Has almost no front toenails left. Next to him is Bubba who is virtually blind and was born that way. Bear is in the middle and is our youngest and biggest at 17 pounds. Taz next one to left and is Bubba's brother. Grettle on far left is our only girl. Up front and in the center giving me the evil eye is Huey. Yes his full name is Babyhuey and is where my forum name comes from. He is the smallest at just under 7 pounds but acts like he is a Bull Mastiff. Quite the group and funny how each has such a distinct personality.

I would rather have a pug then the stupid chiuas dont even think I am close to the spelling. I hate seeing girls carrying those things around. So gosh darn stupid. Tracker... I actually installed a switch that raises and lowers them to a set position that i choose, however they still do flip all the way up. during the day i leave them all the way down so i can use the FTP lenses as day time running lights.

I want to get LEDs in my FTPS to come on with the parking lights so I can drive like that in the daytime.

i actually wanted to take out my ftp lenses and put mesh in the empty space with red neons behind it....that would look sick!

LMAO, they are actually the 3 companies me and my bestest friend came up with while being drunk and thought they woiuld be good company names... so we invested and made them ours, so i race for these companies to get their names out. yes they are etched into the window however i gotta get them redone cause the guy ****ed up.
