View Full Version : Stock Springs for 6 wildtay 01-22-2009, 02:52 PM I need a set of Mazda 6i (2.3L 4 cylinder) stock springs!! Please help I can trade you the 1 1/4" lowering springs that are on it thanks! MZR6I 01-22-2009, 06:54 PM what kind of springs do you have? i might be interested virgin1 01-22-2009, 07:18 PM From the other thread he started, it sounds like he bought the car that way and wouldn"t know for sure what was put in there. A guess would be the Eibach"s though. (1.2" drop.) Is that accurate, wildtay? wildtay 01-23-2009, 12:41 AM Well, yes basically that's perfect. I just bought it from an old friend but I don't know if I want it to stay lowered. Ya that's probably correct I ask the guy soon and see exactly what kind. virgin1 01-23-2009, 04:36 AM Oooo... Haven"t you ever heard it said that you should never buy (or sell) a car from a friend? I sold a car to a friend once a long time ago... I was as honest about it"s problems as I could be with him. Still, we aren"t friends any longer. :( I wish you better luck with yours. wildtay 01-23-2009, 03:53 PM Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that but the car I had before this one I bought from a friends sister and we are all still great friends even though the car turned to **** lol. So i guess im batting 1000% for now but thanks for the advice. I guess I'm just a sucker for the deals friends give you ya know? I am cheap... ha virgin1 01-23-2009, 04:21 PM As I said, it was a long time ago. It was a '72 VW Bus w/a weak engine. I even spent several days of my own time and helped the guy put in the highly modified 1.7L Porsche pancake motor from his other wreck and get it running again. He was a Type II (Bus) fanatic, so he should"ve known what he was in for, and I told him EVERYTHINGI knew about it. Actually, he was my mentor when I was a fledgling Parts Manager. We were good Buds, I just don"t know what happened after that experience. Anyway, I don"t wish the same fate on you. wildtay 01-24-2009, 10:14 AM Oh no well i am sorry and I hope that is not the case for me! I have always wanted onee of those. VW buses are awesome they should make them again but not modernize them ya! MZR6I 01-26-2009, 04:22 PM ok,......about the springs........who are they by? |
