Miata to Protege wheel swap
I have a 2000 Protege with 14" wheels and new front brakes. I wanted to switch the wheels with the wheels from a 1990 Miata. The bolt pattern is matches but the Miata wheels hang up on the new calipers that I just had installed. Was I wrong to assume that the switch could be made, or is it because the Protege has new calipers which are aftermarket?
