Unhappy 79 mazda RX7

I just got this 79 RX7, by luck. I don't really know too much about rotary engines but am learning. Here is my problem, since it was left out under a tree for a long time it collected all kinds of garbage and some of the seals have gotten dry. The car runs, incredibly, but the carburator has a small leak. The last time i installed a carburator, i ran into all kinds of adjustment issues, any suggestions.
Thanks

i just rebuilt a carb off of a 79 recently and it just bolted back on and started right up. i can't guarantee those same results, but i do know that the carbs are pretty solid on these cars. welcome to the boards and all that i can say is to work with confidence.
