Default Help with electrical bug in '07 3

My wife's '07 Mazda 3 sport just started having the doors try and lock and unlock by themselves. The car does not need to be running, but it does happen more often when the car is running. The lights also do not flash when you use the fob to unlock/lock the doors. We thought it was a bad fob, so we took out the battery and the problem went away..... for about an hour. Then started again with the spare and previously unused fob.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Assuming your warrenty is still valid, I'd say take to the dealer.

I was going to say a shorted (or bad) door lock switch but when you said the lights don't flash when doors are locked/unlocked too its got to be in the security system, I agree this sounds like a dealer fix.

well if you have the door open and you try to lock the doors it wont let you, thats normal. if you leave the car unlocked for a certain period of time they will lock themselves, thats also normal. if your like driving down the road and they unlock themselves then thats a problem, take it to a dealer

Just a stupid question, after you remove the key with the door open does the buzzer go off?

i just started to have this problem where even though the key is removed the buzzer will still go off because i didnt fully turn it to the off position, but yes if the key is out and the door open the buzzer is not supposed to go off.
