My MX6 Is Broke, Please Help

I have a 1991 MX-6, beautiful car, love it. The battier died on it, put a new one in, it was a reverse post and sparked it. Now she will not run at all...any ideas? Please Help asap!!

I'll bet that you blew the main fuse under the hood. Look for the underhood fuse block and look for the fuse labeled "MAIN". It will be labeled 80A on the fuse and should be black.

It will also not just pull right out like the other fuses but is held in place by a 10mm head bolt on each side so don't kill yourself trying to just yank it out.
