Wondering what other 6S owners (with fully broken-in vehicles) are getting for gas mileage?
I'm avg. 22 mpg mixed 60% hwy/40% suburban, highest mpg so far 23.7 with 80/20 mix. Car has 6K miles and I don't drive agressively when doing a mileage check (when not doing one, well that's another story [:@]). I was hoping to see some improvement by now, but starting to think these may be best attainable.

your 22mpg average seems pretty good. but i know a lot of people who can get into the 25-26 range when almost all highway.

I have a manual and do a lot of driving in traffic everyday. I'm averaging around 21 to 22 mpg with that. If I do straight highway driving I can get 26 to 27 mpg depending on the wind and the air conditioner. Not the greatest fuel usage ever, but I knew that before purchasing.

You've given me hope; I actually attained 24.3 today, hopefully as the summer blend gas hits the northeast that will help. You're 100% right on- none of us bought the 6S for it's mileage (I traded an '03 Accord Coupe that got 34 hwy) but I much prefer the drive of the Mazda, it's worth the extra money in gas.
