I have had my Copper Red CX-7 GT AWD w/ Tech Package for 1 week. I love it. The handling is great and the turbo does a great job of giving you the power you want when you want it. If there are any question, let me know....

Congrats and great color choice! I am hoping to get one in the early fall as I need some storage(have an RX 8 currently). The turbo has great power and the handling is superb....brakes are awesome too! I test drove it twice and loved it like crazy! Mazda did it again!!! Can't wait till it's my turn!! Enjoy!!!
I just got mine yesterday!
Though I couldn't splurge like other people...
I got a CX-7 Sport Package with the Technology Package. Black Cherry Mica...(that's all my dealership had lol!)
I am awaiting the infamous engine light that seem to have plagued other people.

Hey Billvac, I test drove one yesterday and was pretty impressed. I was sort of disappointed with the interior materials, mostly hard plastic, but it was very attractive anyway. Love this car, but I am concerned with the fuel economy. I do about 50/50 highway/city and have seen some reviews getting abysmal fuel economy as low as 16mpg. Curious to get an honest real world fuel economy number.

Here's my stats with GT/AWD on mostly country roads (50-55 mph)
Date Miles Gal MPG
6/11 260 13.7 18.98
6/23 291 15.3 19.02
7/07 302 14.1 21.42
Total Avg 853 43.1 19.79
Looking better with each tank !!!!

And filling up tomorrow
Same here, my gas milage in the beginning was absolutely horrible. I was averaging about 13MPG.
But then in my last couple of fills, its been steadily increasing...probably by my calming down to how the turbo works.
The last time I checked for fuel consumption it was about 22.4 MPG. so not bad considering. 1600 Miles and no CheckEngine Light yay

Also all enginges need to be broken in. Maybe the low milage is a side effect of the Cx-7's not being broken in.
