Yes. There is really nothing wrong with the car, save that lately they have rated as "boring" to drive. It's usually what the rice morons do to them that have given them a bad reputation.
Would they still be around after 34yrs if they were not: Reliable; fuel efficient; roomy and confortable for their class; fun to drive (some years at least); and a relative bargain?

I know when my ex sold me her '80 HB and bought a then new '87 HB, I still found the '80 to be the better, more fun to drive and work on car.

My basic problem with Civics today is the same as my problem with Corollas: they're ubiquitous.

I can't argue with you there Vincce. In the past 25yrs Honda has gone from "Keeping it Simple," to "Playing it Safe."
On the other hand, Acura has a (slightly) different look. But if I had to look at that grill ('09+) every day I think I'd have to question my taste in cars and art too.
The new ones look fugly, imo. And I almost bought... well, was looking into an RSX Type S (whoops!) before buying the Mazda.

It does. There's actually a second gen CRX for sale by my house...however, on topic, if I do buy a Focus, I will never put a bodykit on it, especially such an ostentatious one.

I do love the Focus HB though. :D

Kind of Funny, I was looking for a ZX3 or ZX5 when I bought the MZ3, the only 1 around was a Stripped down Yellow ZX3, it didn't even have AC on it.

There are plenty of 5 speed (A MUST!) ZX3s around me, the only problem now is money. :D

I bet I'll say that at least 500 more times in my life.
