My first post of many I'm sure!
Hello y'all...Just bought my niece's '94 626 2.0L for a buck. Her headaches are gone!!) CD4E tranny..(DOH!) and have determined that a TC (torque converter) is needed (lots of rpm's before it engages, fluid level OK,Hold Light on,No OD) but want to retrieve codes without an expensive NGS scanner (if this is possible or not). The diagnostic plug under the hood has no "TEN" connection and there is a blue scanner connector (I'm presuming as it's pretty close to the ECM) under the dash on the driver's side. Checked out the code retrieval sites mentioned here but without that "TEN" connection I think I'm SOL.. Some things never change..lol
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated..Thanks,Medge.
