I just bought a 2007 Mazda 3 and I am adding the factory install of Sirius Satellite radio but I was curious... Does anybody know if the satellite uses the same antenna on top of the car or is the seperate Sirius antenna required... I asked everyone at the dealership and NO ONE seemed to know the answer, I got a split of both answers from the people.... can anyone help me answer this question before I have the dealer install it?

My name is Anthony and I am a new Mazda owner, I recently wercked my Subaru Impreza WRX and decided to join the Mazda family now and I totally love my Mazda 3.

 

I would also like to know the answer to this question. The antenna wire broke on our 6 and I need to replace it. I just want to know if the connector on the antenna is the same as on the generic antenna.
