I'm having a terrible time trying to find a replacement Intake Air Hose for my 1993 Mazda 929. (the big hose between the Air Mass or Air FLow Sensor and the THrottle Body.

The local mazda Dealer wants to charge me $370 for the hose! I think that's obsurd. All the autoparts stores i have searched don't have it. HELP! Where can i find a new hose?

For that money-recommend you junk the stock stuff and get K & N(on web) performance filter intake and never have to replace air filter again plus gain 10%+ or more gas milege and improve performance power.

Yes, i thought about that. But K&N doesn't offer one for that particular car.

Many people make their own intake using air duct tubing and an intake filter. It's much cheaper.

this guy (http://www.koken.org/phillip/CAI/) made his own for his volkswagon. Perhaps the instructions are the same for your 929 or any other car.
