I noticed there wasnt a section on the forum for this car nor any of the other MazdaSpeed cars, so im getting a MazdaSpeed6 in about a month or two.
Just wondering if any of you guys or girls own one, drive, have been driven in one?
Whats do you think?

The Speed 6 is a very good car. I've had mine for about 5 months now, and I love it. I've already installed the CPE intake, and I tell you, just the sound is worth the money. It's a fast car, but a sleeper. The awd system is pretty much seemless, and the grip is great. I used to dread rainy days in my mustang, but now I have nothing to worry about but the stupid drivers. It's pretty economical if you have good control over your right foot. And it's great on the fwy/highway. I got almost 30mpg on a 1200 mi trip. I would absolutely recommend the car. Only gripes are a lot of brake dust (have you looked at the size of the brakes?), no where to use all the power, and economy goes down a lot if you floor it all the time, but it runs really rich. I love the car though, and I'll never sell it.
its a great car but has its problems like any other car out their. the car has issues in the cold not sure where u live but a friend of mine kept getting a cel for a valve that kept getting stuck closed.. wont hurt anything but is just anoying.. also the car tends to lose power with an aftermarket intake in below freezing temps. if your going to keep the car stock and you like speed i wouldnt get the speed6. its redline is 6700 rpm but the car loses boost at 5500 rpm so if you shift at 5500 rpm your shifting really fast cuz of the 6 speed so i found myself keeping up with my friends speed6 without any problems at all with my modded 6s. as of now i wouldnt really put anymore than a downpipe on the speed 6 because the way the ecu is setup you will start getting fuel cut thats horrible in order to avoid thay your going to need a boost controller and a tune but there is no tuning module available yet. hope this helps.
like i said if your going to keep the car stock and you want alot of speed dont go for the speed6 :\ its very decieving and seems way faster than it is because of the torque.

I sell Mazda's for a living. The Speed 6 is a great car, but I would recommend different tires. The factory ones are great, but will only last 11,000-12,000 miles. Get the Mazdaspeed intake(AEM) huge difference in the car.
