hey everyone... My name is Mike and Im new to mazda and this forum. I am testing out this 03 speed protege with 21k miles on it... anyhow, when I get on the throttle all the way to the floor, at about 4k RPM's the turbo just doesnt seem like its as strong compared to what it was when it was just starting boost... is this normal...cause it feels like it just flat lines out... i have had turbo cars before and never this problem

 

Engine is just peaking out of its torque curve 03MSP07. Turbo on the speed Protege only develops about 7 psi of boost so you are not going to get a monstrous pull out of it.
