I live in concord and I bought this 1992 nissan240sx for 200 dollars.

i bought the 240 and now i am really happy , but its kind of heavy and the front traction of the tires are horrible, should i trade in my car for a miata, what should i do? i also heard drifting in the miata was really easy too.

Wow, touch decision..I own a Nissan 240sx and a Protege5 and I love then both. My husband is about to do a motor swap in the 240 and I have quite a few things done to the P5. I take the P5 to car show and use the 240 to beat on.

first of all you need to think of the consequences, if your a guy which im assuming you will be looked down upon for driving a miata because they are a girls car, exspecially if it is a convertible, but hey its your call

if he cleaned it up it would be worth more than 100 bucks...

Just sell it to me for the $200 + the cost of the gas you have in the tank (important consideration nowadays :D) and put that toward a Miata on Craigslist.

Or, I might just start cruising craigslist for a used Miata...hmm...

first of all, how the hell did you get that 240 for $200 the mileage must be insane on that car. second, it is NOT a girls car at all. don't listen to them. 3rd. Trade that 240 in for a miata! you will NOT regret it. cuz Miatas own

if you can you should trade in the 240 for the miata, i own a 99 miata and i like the car, despite the fact that people say its a girls car, in my opinion it depends on how aggresive you drive whatever you drive, you can drive a mustang like a girl if you want ( alot of females do own a mustang if you havnt already noticed that), and you can drive a miata as aggresive as any other car, but with better response :) also no offense for all the females reading this, just tired of hearing that miatas are girly cars-

i think that it is considering a feminine car strictly because of its size...but when you put some power behind it, just leave the haters in your dust...:)

LOL my girlfriend has a 97 cabrio. It an automatic, I mean its pretty quite if it didn't have the prombles it does right now.

I mean we have replace a lot of stuff on the car. Basic tune up. Oil, pulgs and wire, we replaced the whole throghtle body. I mean we as in we took it to the dealer ship because it was still under warenty. I mean it still is acting up. I mean we took it in because it was over heating. They replaced the ratiator fluid looked for leaks in the hoses. I mean I can't really remember what all they did but I mean as far as I know they did every thing, I mean it should be fine now. But now its acting like it was to die and it acts weired when I put it in gear like the Transmission is sliping or something.

But yeah if not for the problems it was a great little car. I mean that sucker would go. But I still think my little 92 manuel 323 is much faster though.
