Default Turbos

To get a turbo added to your car, what has to be done. What are all the mods you have to do? Also what are the price range from a stage 1 turbo to a stage 3 turbo?

too much bad news for ya man

1)there are no stage kits for your car....well, there's one. custom (1-3 would have to do solely on 1 companies line for a given model)

2) at this point, if you want it tuned, you are looking at roughly 5-7k for a custome setup. might go a tad cheaper if you go remote mount....but still no "proven" tuning options....just speculation from UniCHip that "they can do it"

3) on the Duratec, you "should" be good running a kit at 6psi or so without much engine work. anything about that (from experience of owners going FI on teh 2.5 duratec in the contour) you would need to repalce the stock main bearings (options are available currently) and that should put you into the 10-12psi range....maybe more. there are options for pistons and rods for a full blown build as well.
