Just took my 6 in for an oil change and a 7500 check up. My engine light was on and the dealer said thye were having problems diagnosing the problem. Said it might be the EVR valve. Any insight to this?

i suppose that it is conceivable that your EGR was bad already....but if your CEL was on, they should have a scan tool which tells them exactly what is wrong. do you know what codes they pulled?
