Does anyone have a Shark Fin antenna on their Mazda 6? If so where did you get it from and does it cut back on your FM/AM reception?

Well i looked at one on Ebay and bought it. Then the next day the guy who was selling it told me that is wasa "dummy"antenna. So i think it is all going for looks unless you can find one that actually is an antenna.

and as far as i know, the VG sharkfins are fully functional

They are fully functional, but you do lose some reception since it does not have as strong signal anymore. I personally got mine for looks, here:
