Hello can anybody help .


Both remotes for the central locks stopped working the same time on my Mazda 6 2006 (the facelifted version, 2,0 147 ps)


Problems started a few months ago when i was turning off the engine sometimes the centrallocks locked. (at that time I just thougt I accidently pressed the buttom on the key)


Some day both remotes stopped working. The central locks works normal when you use the key og the inside contact in the drivers door.


- Fuse i ok.
- I have changed the batteries in the remotes and the red ligt on the
remote turns on when i press the buttons.
- No signs of water near the fusebox or the BCM (if its the one located
under the fusebox.
- I have tried to disarm the negative from the batteri for half an hour -
didnīt solve the problem.
- When i follow the programming procedure: turn ignition on 3 times, push
door contact 3 times and then push remote button twice (which make
the centrallocks lock and unlock) When i finished the programming
procedure the central locks lock and unlock a few times a it supposed to.
After programming sometimes the remotes works 3-4 times and then
they stop working again.


When programming the locks always lock and unlock when i press the remote. When programming is finished, sometimes the remotes work a few times and sometimes they dont.


Can anybody help ?

Do both remotes stop working at the same time?

There was an issue with the keyless entry module in the GH Mazda 6, not sure about the GG/GY model.

Yes both remotes stopped working at thee same time. And they act the same. Meaning during programming they communicate with the central locks. But afterwards sometimes they work a few times until they stop working again.
