Default B2200 smokes

I have a 1991 B2200 2.2 engine that is trying its best to die. I have a smoking problem when it is running. It looks like a combination of white and blue mostly white. We changed the head out because it was warped with a used one which resulted in the same problem. Did a compression test on each cylinder. reading of 120 in the first and 140 in 2,3 and 4. Runs great except for the smoke. Anyone have any ideas of what to do. The truck has about 190,000 miles but has been a good running truck would hate to junk it. The smoking belive it or not really got worse after changing the water pump. Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

Well white smoke is usually a indication of coolant getting in the combustion chamber and blue is most likely worn rings if it is consistent if it's only on start up you could bet your valve seals or guides are worn and your compression check basically already indicates a worn motor because I believe the compression on that motor is more in the 170 range if I am not mistaking and should not be more then 5 to 10 percent of each other check the book to make sure good luck.
