Default Mazda 6 Coolant change

Hi guys I need your advice regarding coolant change.
I have Mazda 6 year 2004 with 1.8l petrol engine (Europe).
The main dealer where I live is asking me for 100 euro to do the coolant change.
This is a bit too much for me because I can get coolant from the motor factor for about 30 euro and get mechanic to change it for around 30 euro.
I was thinking of buying green coolant from Comma but I m not sure would this be ok.
So my question is, is it ok to use those kind of green coolant or is there some kind of special coolant from Mazda that I have to use?

Any advice is helpfull.

I am not sure of the requirements on the Euro Spec, but your owner's manual will tell you exactly what coolant goes in the car.

Funnily enough I was looking through the manual of the car quite a good few times to find any info about the coolant spec but I couldn't find any.

In the rear of the manual should have all the required fluids & such.

Don't listen to people who tell you that the color is important. Read this: http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/coolantcolors.html

You probably need the extended life, organic acid variety -- whatever color it might happen to be.

I bought Prestone extended life antifreeze/coolant. (Mixed with any color antifreeze).
It is LIGHT GREEN color. It is fine with Mazda6s v6.

The OP has a 1.8l European model. The coolant can be different for that region.

Hi guys sorry for the late reply,
the problem is kind of sorted. I found another dealer who said that they will change the coolant for 35 euro.
So I ll probably book my car in some time next week and let them do the job.
Thank you for all the replies and advices was really helpfull.

Since I am already here I need to ask you have any of you had a problem with leaking rain water in the boot where the spare tyre is.
2 weeks ago I opened the boot and accidently saw a big pool of water where the spare tyre is.
My Mazda is a hatchback version and it s year 2004 if it helps.
