Default Water Pump Problem

Somebody has had to replace a water pump and if you did where did u use the the little O Ring that comes with the new gasket. It has to go some where andy help would be greatly appreciated Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

the only place that comes to mind is,the heater crossover pipe on my 2600,hooked into the back off the pump with the o-ring on the pipe lubed with some silicone spray and press fit into the pump then used the mounting tabs on the pipe.

thanks for the respond but i have checked it over and over and just dont see a spot. The thing that concerns me is that it didnt smoke when running except for some blue smoke that stopped after you ran it awhile. After i changed the water pump it smokes with more of a white smoke.
