Default 2010 Mazda 3 GS personalization options

Anyone who tried that or who is aware of the availability of these options for the trim mentioned in the subject?

Take a look here: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/245/vpg1.jpg

I have a hard time getting this info from my dealer, apparently they know less than me!! I haven't received a card like that in the glove box.

Have you tried writing Mazdaca for further information or at least to put in a customer complaint?

The “personalization options” may not be eligible with the Model of vehicle you have purchased. We recommend that you speak with the Service Manager of Mazda Dealer, as he is in the best position to determine if your vehicle is eligible for these computer related upgrades.

I would write them back.
Include your complete VIN number and ask THEM again for info. Be sure to let them know that you do not feel you are being serviced properly by your delaership and that you are aware that they (Mazdaca) has access to these records and can give you the same information.
Don't take no for an answer.

Lazy bastards. They just don't want to do their jobs and still get paid for doing it, that's all.
I work harder for this site and don't get paid for it either!! If I can do it here, as paid employees they should also be willing to do it.

Don't know about your model, but it was included in the documentation that came with my 2010 Mazda3 s GT. Dealer didn't mention it as part of the delivery checklist, but I saw it when I got home.

A week after I picked it up I brought it back to add the Homelink mirror and have them do the personalization, but they acted like they had never seen it before. While I waited the service manager made a call and determined how to handle it. I heard them say that since the car only had 200 miles on it that it was still covered. Hope you don't have too many miles on yours yet otherwise they may charge you for the changes.

Doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies about their service. Other cars I own offer this same type of personalization and they made the changes even before I took delivery.

My guess is that unless you shelled out the bigger bucks for a speed3 or GT trim pkg, you will not be offered these personalization options.
I don't think any vehicle manufacturer would go too the expense of installing these items in a cheaper model vehicle, or for that matter designing them to work in a cheaper model.
Bob.

I've always had good luck with my Mazda service.

The salepeople on the other hand don't know jack squat about the vehicles they are trying to sell...

Even though it was a woman I bought from, the men were like the women also...they only knew what color the car was, aside from that they had to look up every other question I had.

Do you realize how sexist that post sounds?? ^ ^ ^

If I'm not mistaken, and I am liable to confuse this, in Canada the GT is the lesser model, like our 3i, and the GS the upper trim level, like our Touring-GT. Is this correct, or am I again confused???

Any one know of a definitive source of info on what should and should not be settable by model (I have seen folks that have similar model to me saying that things that are on the sheet were not able to be set.)
