Default Help! Replacing Fuel Filter

I was replacing fuel filter on my Mazda tribute and three parts are popped out from somewhere and I don't know where it suppose to go :-(

I think it came out from fuel line but not I'm not 100% sure.

Three parts are
- o-ring
- clear plastic ring
- yellow thin plastic ring

can anyone tell me where i need to place these parts?

Fuel leaks without these parts :-(

thanks in advance!

Is this on the V6 engine? Are you sure those parts aren't part of the fuel filter?
I haven't replaced this on my Tribute, but I recall doing so on a Chrysler years ago.

Yes, it is V6. I'm pretty sure it came out from fuel line.

I've searched the internet and found this
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. THE O-RING SEALS IN THE FUEL LINE CONNECTOR AT THE OUTLET END OF THE FUEL FILTER WERE DAMAGED WHEN THE LINE WAS CONNECTED TO THE FILTER DURING VEHICLE ASSEMBLY. IN SOME CASES, THIS DAMAGE COULD RESULT IN A FUEL ODOR, OR POSSIBLY IN FUEL DRIPPING FROM THE CONNECTION.

So I'm sure O-ring goe in the fuel line, just not sure which order the 3 parts are suppose to be installed :-(

I pulled the All Data info and there's no mention about the O-ring in the install procedure - only for the recall as you mentioned.
Prolly the new procedure drops that O-ring all together?
Here are the pics from All Data

I'm changing the fuel filter on mine tomorrow. I'll put a light to it and see if I can spot those parts you mention and hopefully get you the order.
