Can i swap a 1993 RX7 13BTT into a !987 RX7?

With some custom work, yes you can. It has been done before.

A much more simple and proven swap would be the cosmo 13b-re swap. It's not exactly direct, but still simplified by a company called banzai racing. You can find the motor and mounts there and check here for some guidance on management and final install. It's not cheap, but it is one of the best options for we option-limited FC owners. If you are interested, I can put together a short build list and a few resources to check.

well i bought a Mazda JDM 13B-TT Twin Turbo RX-7 Engine from a website http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engines/mazda/ for 1,899 and i got a quote to get it put in for about 500 to 1000 good deal?

Here are the complications;
The engine needs some kind of controller. You either need a stock ecu and harness to match the motor or you need to go stand-alone. Either way is fine. You also need to consider motor mounts. The stock mount goes into the center iron and through the oil pan. Third gen mounts through the rear iron (I believe) but banzai racing makes mounts for this swap. You will want to go with a single conversion if you go with aftermarket programming. The stock twins are hard to tune with an aftermarket ecu.

Finally, the engine may require a rebuild. You never really know with jdm engines. There is a pretty good chance that you will at least need a new oil pan. They aren't always really gentle with the motors when they pull them and pack them for shipping. I have seen many jdm engines that were beat up when they came over. Consider all of these things and get ready for an extensive build.
