Default Android Auto won't work

I just traded my 2017 Maxda 6 with navigation for a 2019 with Android auto. My car won't recognize my Samsung Galaxy 9. I have tried 3 different USB cables, I know 2 of them are good quality. In settings, Android Auto is there but not highlighted and the cursor won't go down to it. Ive deleted the app a dozen times and I go through the setup process, but no luck.
Help.

Have you tried using a genuine Mazda USB cable?

Also, as annoying as it is, your car is under warranty, book it in with Mazda.
