Default 4l, Sputtering, Slow Rev Up To 3k No Power :( Need Hel

Ive been working on my wifes car, and trying to trouble shoot it. Ive been searching like crazy and although, some have similair issues, they dont have all. Im just really at a loss

Its a 1998 Maxda 626 4L.

If its idling its sputtering, if you floor it in P, or neutral, it will slowly rev up to about 3k and stop, will not go any higher. BUT if you release the gas and hit it again, it will go over 3 just fine, and sounds perfect.

If you are driving it, its very slow to get up to speed, if you floor it, it bogs, and still wont go over 3k rpms, I cant get it to above 45, and thats hard.

What Ive tried
Had a check engine light on for an O2 Sensor, replaced it, light went away after sitting with teh battery disconnected. No fix

Change fuel filter, no fix
Check plug wires crap but are firing (going to autozone in a min to replace those)
Fuel injectors work, (tested by unplugging)
Wires work, should be since they are only 6 months old.

I have power from the battery.

Does anyone have any idea?

Wife said it started shortly after she got gas, so only filled it half way so I babied it to the gas station, filled it with 93 and fuel injector cleaner. no fix.

This is not the original engine, is a used replacement.

Any heal is GREATLY ap
preciated!
