Default 85 Mazda RX7

Hi - My name is Jennifer and I just bought an 85 Mazda RX7. I had one in high school and have wanted another one for years.

I need some assistance. The acceleration is real bad and we cannot figure out where to start in figuring out the problem.

Can someone help?

Hi Jen, and Welcome.
Also Congrats on your new/old ride.I think many of us here know what it's like to have had a car that we'd like to own again, but that rarely happens in real life... at leastthe older members here, like me. I've had a few I'd love to own again.

I'm afraid you're not really giving us much to go on w/regards to your problem(s) however.
I assume you've looked into vacuum leaks, plugs, wires, sensors, all the usual stuff, etc??? How about a clogged catalytic converter?

Also, is it fuel injected or carb?
