Have 91 mpv w/v6 auto trans 2wd non overdrive has economy button on shift stalk. The indicator to inform you of which gear youre in is not working. The orange flag is stuck out of sight just to the left of the park slot in dash bezel. change of gears and light tapping on dash cover or bezel has no effect on moving the indicator. The Haynes van specific manual has nothing about it nor what accutates it. The tear down to remove dash bezel includes steering wheel,collum cover halves then speedo cable and all wiring to it. I would prefer to have a basic understanding of it's operation before I tear out anything that is not needed the dash in paticular. Any info or picture or discription of what moves the indicator with transmission gear changes would be greatly appreciated thanks ken
