You don't state the mileage of your car now, but it would probably be a waste of money. A timing chain, especially a modern one, should last the life of the car.
That said, if you have 200k miles on the clock, it might be a good idea.
What you might look into is a new or refurbished timing chain tensioner, though as far as I know, there are no known issues with these on the 2.3L either.

It has 89K on it that's why I was looking into it.

Appointment is on Friday at 8am and I elected not to drive it during the meantime.
