Default Flywheel BoltTorque Specs

Does anyone have the Flywheel bolt torque specs for a 2008 Mazda 3 2.0L auto trans? I called O'Reily's, Autozone, and the dealer and they all couldn't find them.

Hi there, the bolts should be tightened in cross diagonal sequence and the tightening torque is in three steps, step 1 all bolts tightened to 46-54NM . Step 2 76-84NM. Step 3 108-116NM .

Try here: http://www.mazdaclub.net/mz3ws/
Granted, it's a little hard to navigate directly but most info you should need is there if you research (not to be confused with search.)

edit: Further info: 5. Gradually tighten the flywheel lock bolts in a crisscross pattern.

Tightening torque
ZJ, Z6: 96.1-103.0 N·m
{9.8-10.5 kgf·m, 70.9-75.9 ft·lbf}
LF: 108-116 N·m
{11.1-11.8 kgf·m, 79.7-85.5 ft·lbf}
