My gear shift is jammed in my Mazda MX6 and at first it wouldnt come out of park but after sittin for 10 minutes fiddling with it, it finally came out... now it wont go back into park so its now sitting in front of my house in neutral and the E brake on... anyone know how to help?!

 

With a phillips screwdriver you can probably find the problem. Remove the center console. All phillips screws and pop in parts. There is an electric solonoid in the shifter under there and a couple cables. This area takes alot of spills so you probably have a mess under there. One of the cables is to the trans to change gears. One is from the ignition switch and the solonoid is activated by the brake switch. Take a look at all of those.
