Mazda 6 - sudenly won't start
Hi Mazda fans,
I am proud owner of Mazda 6 2004 2.0l Diesel hatchback. For 1,5 year I had no problem with it. Today after work I started it and drove about 20 minutes to gas station where I stopped engine and that was it. When I wanted to start again the car was dead. Diodes on the dashboard lit up but not with full power. Lights, horn, blinkers nothing working except radio. I pushed poor car aside. Looked like dead battery. I believe that but it looks to me very strange as I had no problem starting the car even in minus 14 degrees of Celsius about 3 weeks ago. I checked all fuses in engine part, didn't checked fuses inside yet. As I opened fuse box there was some clicking sound after few seconds when I turned key to GO position. The sound was coming from "Glow plug relay". I opened it and tried to block it in on and then in off position but nothing. Starter won't move.
Then later my friend came and we plugged it on cables to try jump start it. All electrical systems were fine then but when I tried to start I got again some clicking but now from engine block. Seems to me like starter but my other friend that have experience with death battery tells me that starting cables have impedance and you will not start Mazda 6 on cables from other car. Any experience with similar problem? Tomorrow I am going to buy new battery but if you have any other, better idea please share.

Hi again,
I thing that I forgot to mention: when I was trying to jump start it with this clicking sound the imobiliser sighn was blinking same speed as clicking sound about 2 times per second so I tried second key that I got with car but no change. could this also be imobiliser blocking starter? I read here on mazdaforum that imobilisers usualy let starter turn but engine will not get spark or fuel.
