Mazda Bounty 1999 Engine swap?

Hi would a 2006 2.5 diesel turbo engine fit a 1999 Mazda bounty? Cheers for any help

WHen you say a 2006 2.5, is it from the last of the 2006 Bounty's or the 2006 BT-50?
