Default How do you enter numbers.

switch your car in contact

Enter code 4989 by using the select buttons 1-6
press and hold down the AUTO-M and 6 button until GOOD appears.
Now your carradio is from its anti-theft mode back to factory setting
How do I enter the numbers since there are just six digits on the radio??

Mate
You are a legend.
My old CD / Radio died in my trusty TRIBUTE , but I managed to find a replacement at the wreckers for a fair price (but damn they're hard to remove !)
Then discovered when I hooked it up to my car that this unit had been programmed with a CODE - no chance of guessing it in 3 tries, and eventually got the ERR message
So your solution is priceless
Thanks so much for sharing, from a very grateful fellow Mazda enthusiast
cheers
Guy

Step Three:- Press and hold Auto M and Preset 6 together. Step Four:- The Word 'GOOD' will appear on the screen indicated that the radio will work. Button sequence works for me but I had to use the code numbers "3511" on my 2005 Mazda 3. Try those if "4989" doesn't work for you.
