Hi there, Firstly you will need to remove the rear carpet and trim , then you will see a steel plate remove the screews from the plate and then you will see the top of the fuel tank sender unit , mark the fuel lines so you know which way to install them on the new sender and remove the connector making sure you press the release of the connector correctly so you dont damage it. You will need a Good Screew driver (when undoing the screews around 6 0r 8 they hold the unit in place to the tank ,press your body weight onto your screew driver and undo the screews) ok , now , Carefully lift the sender up and move it to the left or right and you may need to tilt it slightly to lift out the mesh pick up that is located at the bottom of the sender unit. If you are replacing just the sender potentiometer sensor then be careful when removing the sensor it should just slide into place so you might have to work out how it comes appart and dont break the swirl pot housing when doing so. Fit your new sensor !!!!RE-connect the wiring and turn on the ignition ( make sure you take care as fuel can ignite with a spark so try and cover up the hole in the tank) . Move the float up and view the fuel gauge needle make sure the needle moves up to FULL smoothly then slowly move the float down Making sure the needle goes to EMPTY. Try it in small increments this way you can be sure the sender unit is working correctly. RE- install the unit and screews , re fit the hoses and connector including the steel plate with screews and then fit the carpet and road test the vehicle . Good Luck .
