i purchased a use mazda MX5 2006 and have change the oil 2 times. I've had to add 1qt of oil both times. Is this normal? I took it to the dealor becuase it's under warrenty and they said that is it normal. I've had a lot of new vehicles and never had to add oil while they were new. This is my 1st mazda so help me.

I wouldn't think so myself. You don't say that it's an MS5 so no turbo to burn oil or leak it.
I'd say that you are being given a story from your dealer and if it continues would push a little harder for them to stop the BS and actually do their job of finding out where it's going.
Even running synthetic in her, my '04 3 series does not use any oil between changes w/over 45k miles on her. And I am a spirited driver most of the time too.
