Mazda Tribute 2001

parking lights and dash lights stay on even when key is off and lights are switched off.

what can cause this issue? I removed fuses from the drivers side interior: illum and lights (neither had an effect at turning them off)

could there be a short somewhere? a bad relay?

I had a problem today. The brake lights came on and would not shut off. I took the vehicle to CTC and they said the brake switch was dead since they did not have the part today I had to disconnect the battery and tomorrow hook it back up and take it back as the part is supposed to be there. I have no idea why they did not just disconnect the brake lights or pull the fuse. good luck with your light problem.
