Sat Nav / Audio system keeps shutting down and restarting
Hi there, first poster here looking for any suggestions to resolve a problem I’m having with my Mazda 6 connect sound / sat nav system.
The problem is the system repeatedly shuts down and restarts, stays on for about 1 or 2 minutes during which time it is slow to respond then shuts down again. Sat nav is unusable. Radio works fine although when the system restarts the radio channel reverts back to a default channel. This cycle of on - off etc can happen 5 or more times but does eventually settle down after about 10 minutes.
I have tried the factory reset function and a hard reset holding down the control buttons for 10 seconds as shown in some posts.
any suggestions welcome!
Thanks, Alan

Update on this issue of constant rebooting of Mazda entertainment / satnav system
so I’ve removed the SD Card from the centre storage place (behind the hand brake lever) followed by holding down the NAV and Sound/Mute buttons together until the system did a reset.
the system stays on fine now, although the navigation doesn’t work as the SD card holding the maps is removed. I’ve refitted the SD card to try it again but the issue returns so it’s either faulty SD card or something to do with the navigation. I can live without the navigation thanks to modern day smart phones so I guess I’ll not be paying the local deal £££s for a new SD card.
