Default Stock Stereo question?

I have a 2006 Mazda 3i. and I want to upgrade the stereo system. is the stock one removeable or does it have RCA pre-outs for amp hook up. Also, where can I get a zoom-zoom sticker, i lost mine before I could put it on the car.

Thanks

It is removeable but not sure if has pre-outs. Will try to give a check tomorrow. I have a stack of the smaller zoom stickers in white. They are about 8 inches long. PM with your mailing address and I will send you some.

No pre-outs for adding an amp. Pulled audio from 06 with 6 disc to check. Try checking with dealer parts dept for zoom sticker also. We give ours away for nothing. Here are a couple of pictures if you want to pull your own radio.

1. Remove the decoration trim panel that runs along top of the radio and glovebox. Pull straight out towards you starting on the left to release the clips until you get to the far right side and then slide trim to the drivers side to release the last tab.

2. Only two phillips screws on top of radio to release and then pull radio straight out. Be careful of the display panel above the audio unit. It will pull out with the unit and is a pretty tight fit.

But of course I am just a young guy and I have no idea when it comes to decals.

PS: If you have any extra, yah know like ones you don't want I would be more than happy to take them off your hands. Just name your price.

Are those stickers like originals from mazda or some made up ones ?

Reason why I ask is that I have never seen originals and neither know where to find them 'say on the web / Mazda .

Second reason is that if it was displayed big enough , 'say like a real-close-up pic of it (by you Babyhuey) then we could copy it on disc and bring it to the local sticker shop and have it cut out on any kind of coloured sticker we want .... I'd take mine in Reflective Red

Third reason , is it the original letter format ? , if not , then you could choose also your prefered letter format (font)
