I posted a similiar question on the Mazda 6 page. I have used Mobile 1 synthetic since 2,500 miles. My 6 Gran Touringwagon isnow approaching 40,000 miles and I'm considering a switch. She has a 3.0L, V6 with 6 spd. auto and I average 25-26 mpg @ 70-80 mph. I drive about 80 miles a day. I have seen the adds that offer better gas mileage, more power or both. Any recommendations? I doubt you'd getbetter mileage, or power. It seems you are getting very good mileage from that drivetrain already,but the rumor is that Mobil1 has gone to using a cheaper baseto save money and keep costs down. I myself have switched to Castrol Syntec for this reason. I had used M1 forover 20 yrs and in 4 other cars I owned.
