Default TPMS light after tire change

Just had my 2009 Mazda5 tires changed at a local garage and TPMS light will not go off. (It is on solid yellow, not blinking.)

Confirmed pressure is at 34 psi on all four tires.

The garage mechanic says the warning needs to be reset at a dealer - is there any other way to do this? The owner's manual process (key in ignition + driving car) has not worked.

Any suggestions?

I have an 08 model, have not had an issue with this, however I wonder if they (local garage) may have damaged or not re-installed one of the sensors when installing. We (by which I mean my wife) had owned a 06 Hyundai Tucson, her ex had put fix-a-flat in one of the tires and it damaged the TPMS which had caused the TPMS light to stay on. me personally I run my tires at 40 psi (50 is the recommended max). The TPMS monitors the tire pressure in all four tires, if one (or more) drops past a certain limit it will trigger the low pressure light (not the TPMS light, two separate lights) my guess would be that one of the sensors were damaged in one way or another. to reset most codes, disconnect the battery for one minute then reconnect. if light is still on then my guess is it would be a bad sensor
