urgent help with Mazda 3 Turbo Diesel
#11
Thanks for the offer paul, no need tho cos the cars been fine since I got the MAF and transducer done. That's over a month now and its still running great, no thanks to mazda.
I am still trying to get compensation from mazda for their mis-diagnosis as if I had taken their advice I would have replaced my turbo for nothing and now be well poorer. Their dealer has now lied and they deny ever saying they advised me to do the turbo? Shame for them that I have the paperwork they gave me saying I needed to do the turbo. Its now in the hands of the main central office for the UK so hoping they will sort it out very soon.
Keep u all posted of my result/offer from main office when I finally get it sorted out.
Dealerships, totally useless man, stay away.
Cheers guys.

EGR problem
I have a problem with the turbo over boosting too but there is something wrong with the EGR valve according to the Mazda diagnostics. My question is where can I get an EGR valve for a 2005 1.6D Mazda 3 and what price are they? I have tried plenty car factors but they can't seem to locate one. I think the main dealer said it would be close to 1000Euro for this, can't be right, can it?

Theres loads or companies breaking down cars and recycling the parts online, I got a MAF sensor for £35 from one where the dealer wanted £135.
Just google " Mazda Breakers" or "mazda salvage" for your nearest place. Sure they can help you with the erg a lot cheaper, wont be new but will def be a lot cheaper.
