Default 1990 GTX Laser wont start. And Im probably to blame.

Hey all just a quick question here regarding my 1990 Mazda GTX 1800 AWD Turbo.
It now turns over, but will not start. Turns over at the normal speed, all wires are connected and it has fuel. The events leading up to it not starting are as follows. (Please bear with my stupidity)

I was cleaning the air filter and generally around that area and noticed at the entry to the O2 sensor box there was a butterfly (quite large) being myself and generally stupid, I prodded it with my finger. It moved only about 5mm and then I prodded it again ( I really don't know why I did this) and it "snapped" and started moving freely.

Also at the time of the cleaning, I disconnected the plug going into the O2 sensor thinking it would make removal of the whole box easier. As I disconnected it and started to pull it out, it came only a little bit and I could see many pins. I immediately plugged it back in and did it back up.

Apart from those two things all I did was clean the air filter box.

Any help as to why my car will now not start would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
